Job summary

Abound Health is seeking compassionate Home-Based Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist individuals with I/DD in Bellefonte, PA. This role offers full-time or part-time hours, one-on-one support in clients' homes and communities, and a $1,000 signing bonus with pay ranging from $17.00 to $25.00 per hour.

Ideal candidates are patient, reliable, and dedicated to helping others; must be 18+, have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license and ability to pass background

Qualifications

• Experience supporting individuals with I/DD.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly.
• Valid driver's license and active car insurance.
• Willingness to complete background checks.

Responsibilities

• Support behavioral, social, and vocational skill development.
• Assist with recreational and community activities.
• Follow treatment plans and document progress.
• Provide companionship and respite care.
• Submit documentation and payroll on time.
• Participate in ongoing training.
• Assist with personal care needs as required.
• Work independently in home and community settings.
