Job summary

Abound Health is hiring compassionate Home-Based Direct Support Professionals to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Bellefonte, PA. This role offers full-time and part-time hours with a $1,000 signing bonus and hourly wages between $17.00 and $25.00.

As a DSP, you will work one-on-one in clients’ homes and communities, helping them live safely, independently, and with dignity. Training is provided for those new to caregiving.

Qualifications

• Caregiving experience preferred (not required — training provided).
• Valid driver’s license and active car insurance.
• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support in clients’ homes and communities.
• Support behavioral, social, and vocational skill development.
• Assist with recreational and community activities.
• Follow treatment plans and document progress.
• Provide companionship and respite care.
• Submit documentation and payroll on time.
• Participate in ongoing training.
• Assist with personal care needs as required.
