Job summary

National Counseling Group in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a Mental Health Professional to join our team. You will deliver evidence-based care across home-based and community services, leading crisis intervention, case management, and therapeutic interventions to help families and children build resilience and reach their goals.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed care, individual/family therapy, collaborative planning with schools and social services, and compliance with licensing and Medicaid

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience working with the identified population.
• Current QMHP-T (A/C), QMHP-A, QMHP-C, or QMHP-A/C certification, or provisional/full licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy sessions.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with care teams as needed.
• Maintain compliance with all clinical and regulatory standards.
• Participate in supervision (if applicable based on licensure level).
