Job summary

HarmonyCares in Moraine, OH seeks a Clinical Partner (Medical Assistant) to support physicians, nurse practitioners and clinical teams in delivering primary health care in residential settings.

The role requires phlebotomy/EKG skills, patient prep, documentation, and travel between sites. HS diploma, MA program or 1 year MA experience, CPR, and a valid driver’s license are required; CMA is a plus, geriatric care preferred.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy, EMT or related program or 1 year MA/phlebotomist experience.
• Current CPR certification and knowledge of medical terminology.
• Basic computer literacy, EMR, iPad, GPS experience; strong interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Supports mission and values while delivering compassionate patient care.
• Assist clinicians and care management teams in primary care delivery at home.
• Coordinate daily travel and transport clinicians to appointments.
• Prepare patients for examinations and minor procedures when needed.
• Document patient care accurately in charts and EMR.
• Maintain supplies, lab specimens, and equipment; assist with phlebotomy and EKG as requested.
• Ensure compliance with CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA guidelines; maintain patient confidentiality.
