Job summary

Northwest Regional Council (NWRC) is seeking Behavioral Health Clinicians for Mount Vernon and Bellingham to provide assessments and ongoing individual counseling to adults, including elders and people with disabilities, in their homes or via telehealth. Clinicians deliver strengths-based therapy, develop treatment plans, and coordinate with natural supports and other providers.

Caseloads typically run 20–25 clients with a 55% billing expectation.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Behavioral or Health Sciences or related field
• Two years of experience providing direct human services to clients, preferably in a community setting
• Demonstrated ability to assess client needs with consideration of diverse groups
• Knowledge of diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of mental dysfunctions
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Must pass pre-employment background check and immunization

Responsibilities

• Provide assessments and ongoing individual counseling for adults, including elders and people with disabilities, in-home, at residence, or via telehealth
• Deliver strengths-based therapies and treatment planning
• Identify and develop natural supports, advocate, and coordinate with other providers
• Maintain caseloads of 20-25 clients and meet 55% billing of total work hours
• Participate in supervision, timely documentation, ongoing training, and collaboration with providers
