Position: Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) - Independent Contractor

Role Responsibilities

1. Provide customized massage sessions using modalities like deep tissue, Swedish, myofascial, or Thai-inspired techniques based on client needs.
2. Incorporate holistic approaches emphasizing physical, emotional, and energetic well-being.
3. Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
4. Communicate effectively with clients about goals, concerns, and post-session recommendations.
5. Keep treatment areas clean, stocked, and compliant with protocols.
6. Educate clients on self-care practices and optional add-ons such as cupping, herbal relief, hot stones, etc.
7. Participate in wellness events, open houses, or workshops hosted by the spa.

Qualifications

• Licensed Massage Therapist with active license and liability insurance (required).
• Proven therapeutic massage skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in a spa or wellness center preferred.
• Additional certifications in massage techniques are a plus.
