Job summary

The Salvation Army Kroc Center is seeking a Seasonal Social Services Assistant to support Christmas Assistance programs, including Angel Tree and Adopt A Family. The role requires compassion, organization, and reliability to serve families during the holiday season.

Hours are 40 per week at $15.00/hr, with a schedule of Monday–Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some evenings and weekends may be required to meet program needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Social services experience preferred.
• Strong computer, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Christmas Assistance applications.
• Review documentation and enter information accurately.
• Help coordinate Angel Tree donations and volunteers.
• Communicate warmly and professionally with clients, donors, and community partners.
• Pick up, unload, organize, and sort donated items.
• Maintain confidentiality of client and program information.
• Complete other related duties as assigned.
