Job summary

Five Below is seeking a part-time Seasonal Sales Associate to support our holiday season needs from October through January. You will greet customers, answer questions, and help them find products while maintaining clean, organized aisles.

The role emphasizes friendly service, effective upselling, and accurate checkout experiences. The position runs during peak shopping periods, with opportunities to develop sales skills and learn store operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 and available to work a flexible schedule.
• Comfortable with technology such as computers, cash registers, hand-held and mobile devices.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs and move merchandise as needed.
• Willing to work weekends and during busy holiday periods (Oct–Jan).

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers promptly; acknowledge customers and provide assistance.
• Understand customer needs; share product knowledge and offer recommendations.
• Promote store events, promotions, and activities to drive sales.
• Resolve customer concerns and offer alternatives when needed, aiming to exchanges where possible.
• Communicate restocking and service needs to management in a timely manner.
• Support team and store goals to contribute to a positive work environment.
