Job summary

Emporium Pies is seeking a temporary Baker to prepare high-quality pies in a production bakery environment supporting multiple locations. This role assists during the holiday rush, ensuring products are produced safely, on schedule, and to standard.

Responsibilities include following recipes, maintaining sanitation, and collaborating with the team to hit daily production goals in a fast-paced setting. Position ends December 31, 2026, with hours 6:00am–2:00pm or 12:00pm–8:00pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Food Handler Certification required or obtainable within 30 days.
• Experience working in a bakery/food production environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pies and bakery items according to recipes, quality standards and production schedules.
• Measure, mix, assemble, bake, and package products consistently and accurately.
• Follow daily production lists to meet inventory needs for all locations.
• Maintain high standards for product appearance, taste, portioning, and consistency.
• Safely operate bakery equipment and tools.
• Monitor product quality during baking and communicate concerns.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness procedures.
• Assist with inventory organization, stocking, and preparation for future production.
• Support additional bakery needs and projects as assigned.
