Metropolitan Ministries is seeking an Outreach Holiday Associate to support registration on-site and remotely, assist in the holiday tent, Metro Market, Metro Outfitters and partner pop-up sites during the holiday season.

The role requires working non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with at least two years in social services or volunteering. Strong interpersonal and de-escalation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' experience in social services or volunteering.
• Comfort working with poor and homeless families.
• Ability to deescalate clients in crisis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; report writing.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates Holiday Registration, Distribution, the Metro Market, Metro Outfitters and Holiday Partner Pop-up sites.
• Works with Volunteer Services to identify volunteers and collaborative partnerships.
• Ensures clients are registered and checked in through the holiday registration platform.
• Supports the team in other tasks and attends all team meetings.
• Participates in Metropolitan Ministries' events and holiday efforts.
