Job summary

Great Lakes Loons in Midland, MI are seeking friendly, energetic Holiday Lights Promotions Team Members to help create a festive guest experience at Dow Diamond this winter.

You will greet guests, assist with Lou E. Claus and Santa’s Workshop activities, manage ticketing, and support events, crafts, and photo opportunities while staying reliable and upbeat during weekend and holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or events is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and create a festive atmosphere.
• Provide friendly customer service to guests of all ages.
• Assist Lou E. Claus with guest interactions, appearances, photos, and activities.
• Assist with photo op stations and interacting with guests to facilitate attendee photos.
• Help facilitate the Letters to Santa station.
• Assist with crafts and activities at Santa's Workshop.
• Collect and check tickets for the Holiday Lights train experience.
• Provide guests with directions and information about the event.
• Assist with special events, character appearances, themed nights, and other holiday programming.
• Help maintain clean, organized, and welcoming activity areas.
• Represent the Great Lakes Loons and Holiday Lights in a professional, enthusiastic, and positive manner.
• Support the Promotions team with additional event responsibilities as needed.

The Great Lakes Loons are seeking enthusiastic, dependable, and guest-focused individuals to join our Holiday Lights Promotions Team at Dow Diamond this Winter.

Holiday Lights Promotions Team Members will play an important role in creating a welcoming, festive, and memorable experience for guests throughout the holiday season. Similar to the Fun Flock during baseball season, this team will serve as a friendly and energetic presence throughout the event while assisting with activities, Lou E. Claus, and guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and create a positive, festive atmosphere throughout Holiday Lights.
• Provide friendly and engaging customer service to guests of all ages.
• Assist Lou E. Claus with guest interactions, appearances, photos, and activities.
• Assist the execution of photo op stations and interacting with guests to facilitate attendee photos.
• Help facilitate the Letters to Santa station.
• Assist with crafts and activities at Santa's Workshop.
• Collect and check tickets for the Holiday Lights train experience.
• Provide guests with directions and information about the event.

Previous experience in customer service, events, sports, entertainment, hospitality, promotions, or working with children is preferred but not required.

Schedule & Compensation

• Seasonal position: November 14, 2026 – January 2, 2027
• Evening availability is required.
• Available to work Weekends and Holidays.

Physical Demands

• Ability to withstand outdoor elements as well as being on your feet for extended period of time.
