Job summary

Great Lakes Loons are seeking a lively mascot to engage fans during games and events, helping to create a fun, family-friendly experience. You will dance, perform skits, choreograph routines, and greet guests throughout the Holiday Lights season.

Qualified candidates are creative, enthusiastic, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and outgoing, able to work flexible hours including day, evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Height requirement: 5’10” to 6’1”.

Job description

Promote and strengthen the Great Lakes Loons brand values of fun, family entertainment, service excellence, and quality in all actions. Help create a fun, unique, family-friendly entertainment experience by welcoming fans, dancing and performing skits, and choreographing routines throughout the game and various special events. Mascot is responsible for interacting with fans and contestants throughout the game in a professional manner, as well as posing for pictures with fans and signing autographs. This fall, the Mascot will work mainly at our Holiday Lights event, greeting guests, posing for photos, and entertaining families throughout the evening. You will be responsible for working safely at all times.

Loon's Expectations:

Qualified candidates must be creative, enthusiastic, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and outgoing individuals who truly enjoy having FUN. Must be able to work flexible hours, including day, evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Applicant must be between 5’10” and 6’1” tall.

Physical Demands:

Ability to withstand outdoor elements, heat or cold, as well as being on your feet for extended periods of time. Capable of lifting 50 pounds.
