Job summary

Humbug Holiday Lighting of Fort Mill-Lancaster is seeking a Holiday Lighting Installer to bring festive displays to homes and businesses in the Lancaster, SC area. You will install, maintain, and remove lighting, safely working at heights and in varying weather conditions.

The role requires punctuality, a strong eye for detail, and the ability to handle a seasonal schedule including weekends. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred.

Qualifications

• Comfortable outdoors in varying weather during the holiday season.
• Able to work at heights and follow safety protocols.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work a seasonal schedule including weekends.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering quality workmanship.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks.
• Prior landscaping, construction, or outdoor installation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and remove professional holiday lighting displays for residential and commercial customers.
• Safely operate ladders and work at heights to hang and secure lighting along rooflines, trees, and structures.
• Inspect and test lighting strands and components to ensure proper function before and after installation.
• Follow installation plans and design layouts to deliver high-quality, visually appealing displays.
• Provide excellent customer service during on-site visits, representing the company professionally.
• Properly store, organize, and transport lighting equipment and materials.
• Communicate with team leads regarding job progress, issues, or supply needs.
