Pest Hunters/Humbug Holiday Lighting of Old Bridge/Marlboro is seeking a dependable Holiday Lighting Installation Technician for the upcoming season. This active outdoor role involves installing, servicing, and removing professional lighting displays at residential and commercial properties as part of a crew.

The season runs roughly October through January with daytime hours and weekend availability; strong performers may transition to year-round work as the company expands into permanent

Responsibilities

• Install professional holiday lighting and decorations on homes and commercial properties.
• Install lighting on rooflines, trees, shrubs, landscaping, and other structures.
• Safely use ladders, lifts, and installation equipment.
• Make sure displays are installed neatly, securely, and safely.
• Troubleshoot and correct lighting or connection issues.
• Return to customer properties when service or repairs are needed.
• Remove holiday lighting and decorations after the season.
• Organize, label, and properly store lighting and equipment.
• Maintain clean and organized trucks, equipment, and work areas.
• Communicate professionally and courteously with customers.
• Work closely with other crew members to complete installations safely and efficiently.
• Follow company safety procedures at all times.

Holiday Lighting Installation Technician

Seasonal Position: October–January

Opportunity for Year-Round Employment

We are looking for dependable, hardworking people to join our team as Holiday Lighting Installation Technicians for the upcoming holiday season.

You’ll work as part of a crew installing, servicing, and removing professional holiday lighting displays at residential and commercial properties. This is an active, outdoor, hands-on position that is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with a team, takes pride in their work, and doesn’t want to spend the day sitting behind a desk.

Our holiday lighting season generally runs from October through January. For strong team members, there may be opportunities to continue working with us year-round as we expand into permanent outdoor lighting and through positions with our established pest control business.

Schedule / Expected Work Hours

Seasonal work from approximately October through January

Primarily daytime hours

Weekend availability is preferred, especially during the busiest part of the season

Scheduling can be flexible depending on availability

Hours may vary based on weather, customer schedules, and seasonal demand

What You'll Do

Install professional holiday lighting and decorations on homes and commercial properties

Install lighting on rooflines, trees, shrubs, landscaping, and other structures

Safely use ladders, lifts, and installation equipment

Make sure displays are installed neatly, securely, and safely

Opportunity Beyond the Holiday Season

This position starts as seasonal employment, but we are interested in finding people who may want to grow with us.

We plan to expand our lighting business to include permanent outdoor lighting, creating additional opportunities beyond the traditional holiday season. Strong employees may also have opportunities to transition into our year-round pest control operation.
