Job summary

Zingerman’s Mail Order is hiring seasonal crew to work in our kitchen—prepping & cooking delicious meals for our staff. You’ll join a fast-paced team serving over 400 meals daily during the busy December season.

You’ll prep fruits, vegetables, and meats, cook meals, set up and tear down, and keep spaces clean. The role includes paid training, paid breaks, and meal discounts, with shift from 8am–4pm Sept–Dec.

Qualifications

• Experience cooking and preparing food in a commercial kitchen.
• Ability to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Full-time availability preferred; part-time considered.
• Physically active role; able to stand, bend, lift.
• English reading/writing proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Prep fruits, vegetables, and meats using kitchen tools.
• Cook and execute meal plans.
• Serve meals to staff (over 400 daily in December).
• Set up and tear down for each meal.
• Clean surfaces, equipment and spaces after meals.
