Job summary

City of Sandy Springs is seeking energetic Seasonal Ice Rink Shift Supervisors to help run a fast-paced winter attraction. You’ll lead a team of rink attendants, oversee opening and closing tasks, manage ice maintenance, and ensure every guest—from first-time skaters to pros—feels welcomed and safe on the ice.

Dates: November 13 through January 18, 2027, with some holiday availability. This seasonal role offers hands-on leadership and event support in City Springs, along with training to help

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience in ice rink operations or customer service preferred.
• Basic knowledge of ice rink safety rules and protocols.
• Basic math skills and ability to work in cold environments.
• Skating experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise rink and ticket attendants during your shift.
• Oversee daily rink operations (opening, closing, ice maintenance; training provided).
• Deliver excellent customer service and assist visitors.
• Train and support team members.
• Monitor ice safety, rink capacity, and enforce safety rules.
• Help with special events, crowd management, and skate rentals.
