• Mine hoist systems knowledge and experience are a definite asset.
• Strong customer focus and the ability to relate well to customer needs.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Must be able to work in a multi-disciplined team.

Responsibilities

• Act as the key point of contact for all technical aspects after the system start-up and lead the maintenance program for hoist systems.
• Provide on-site or remote technical support for installation, commissioning of equipment and routine maintenance.
• Conduction hoisting system inspections and audits to ensure proper operation and safety.
• Advise customers on best service solutions in accordance with standard processes and safety guidelines.
• Identify potential equipment failures and take corrective actions, troubleshoot and propose proactive improvements.
• Report work and follow up as needed and provide hands-on support at customer sites.

Your Role And Responsibilities (Mandatory)

As a Senior Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical support and service to our customers. You will perform installations, maintenance, and repairs on equipment, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

This role is contributing to the Automation area, in their Hoisting business line in Utah. Your main stakeholders would be customers from the mining sector.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Act as the key point of contact for all technical aspects after the system start-up as well as leading the maintenance program for the hoist systems.
• Providing on-site or remote technical support for installation and commissioning of equipment and routine maintenance independently, identifying technical problems and make analysis through remote or on-site activity in different Service categories.
• Conduction hoisting system inspections and audits to ensure proper operation and safety level of the system.
• Consulting with and advising customers on the best service solutions inaccordance with standard processes, procedures and safety guidelines.
• Identifying potential equipment failures and taking corrective actions, troubleshooting complex equipment failures, and making proactive recommendations to avoid the problem in the future.
• Reporting work done in a timely manner and following up when needed.
• Making suggestions for product, quality, and customer service improvements, and discussing them with management.
• Provide hands-on support at customer sites.

Qualifications For The Role

• Professional background in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Automation or Mining engineering, or alike.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience with industrial systems
