Job summary

Shrive Technologies LLC in Charlotte, NC seeks a Subject Matter Expert for Hogan core banking systems to reverse-engineer legacy modules and translate embedded business logic into modern specifications to support migration to the Pismo platform.

The role requires deep domain knowledge and hands-on mainframe skills (COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, MQ), along with clear guidance for migration, testing, and production change control processes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with Hogan core banking platform.
• Strong expertise in COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, MQ.
• Experience in legacy system analysis and reverse engineering.
• Core banking modernization / migration programs.
• Strong understanding of production change management and control processes.
• Ability to translate complex legacy logic into modern functional/technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Reverse-engineer Hogan modules including IDS, CIS, PEP+, ULS, DDA, and rail-specific components.
• Analyze and document business rules embedded in COBOL programs into structured, reusable specifications.
• Design and build data extraction and integration interfaces.
• Enable dual-write mechanisms, rollback strategies, and legacy-side validation during migration.
• Support legacy system stabilization and change control processes in production.
• Collaborate with architecture and development teams to ensure accurate behavior replication in Pismo.
• Participate in decommissioning strategy for legacy functionalities.
