Job summary

Smithfield is seeking a Hog Loader to work alongside a loading crew, moving animals from pens to trucks with emphasis on welfare and proper handling. The role requires physical labor and the ability to work day or night shifts on site at the Clinton, NC location.

You will sort, count, and load animals, maintain equipment cleanliness, and follow PPE and safety guidelines while supporting a collaborative team environment. Relocation options may be available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to perform hard physical labor.
• Strong teamwork and safety commitment.

Responsibilities

• Sorts and loads animals in a productive, SAFE and efficient manner.
• Counts animals onto truck.
• Maintains cleanliness of crew vehicles and equipment.
• Complies with Environmental, Biosecurity and safety policies.
