This part-time role focuses on showcasing players, coaches, culture, and the Omaha Hockey experience while strengthening the program's brand and supporting recruiting.

You will create, edit, and publish content across social platforms, produce video-first material from practices and games, and stay current with trends.

Qualifications

• Experience creating content for a sports team or athletic organization.
• Experience with video editing software.
• Knowledge of hockey and collegiate athletics.
• Strong video storytelling and editing skills.
• Understanding of current social media platforms, trends, and content styles.
• Creative, organized, reliable, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and publish engaging content across Omaha Hockey’s social media platforms.
• Capture and produce video-first content from practices, games, team events, and everyday moments within the program.
• Showcase our players, coaches, culture, and personality through compelling storytelling.
• Create short-form video content for Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms.
• Develop content that supports recruiting and strengthens the Omaha Hockey brand.
• Stay current with social media trends and bring new creative ideas to the program.
