The Bradsby Group is partnering with a Denver-area company to recruit an experienced HOA Accountant. The role focuses on HOA, property, or real estate accounting, with emphasis on accurate financial reporting and month-end close.

Ideal candidates will have 2–5+ years of accounting experience, a Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, strong GAAP knowledge, and excellent Excel skills. A collaborative environment offers growth opportunities within the organization.

• HOA, property management, real estate accounting experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.

Responsabilités

• Manage accounting activities for a portfolio of HOA communities.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations monthly.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Review accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activity.
• Prepare budgets and financial forecasts.
• Coordinate with community managers and internal teams.
• Support audits and accounting projects as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies.

The Bradsby Group is partnered with a growing and established company in the Denver market that is looking to add an experienced HOA Accountant to their team! This is an exciting opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is looking for the opportunity to grow with an organization. The ideal candidate will have experience with HOA, property, or real estate accounting and a strong understanding of financial reporting and month-end close.

What You’ll Do

• Manage accounting activities for a portfolio of HOA communities
• Prepare monthly financial statements and financial reports
• Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Review accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activity
• Prepare and maintain budgets and financial forecasts
• Work closely with community managers, board members, and internal teams
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Assist with audits and other accounting projects as needed
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies

What We’re Looking For

• 2–5+ years of accounting experience
• HOA, property management, real estate, or related industry experience strongly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles
• Experience with month-end close and financial statement preparation
• Strong Excel skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
