Job summary

WEG is seeking a skilled HMI/PLC Programmer II to design and implement control software for industrial drive packages. You will develop PLC/HMI solutions, create schematics and BOMs, and support on-site commissioning.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of experience, an engineering degree or equivalent, and proficiency with AutoCAD and Excel. Travel to client sites is required for project deployment and testing.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Excel, and Office tools.
• Strong PLC/HMI programming knowledge and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop PLC/HMI software for industrial drives and starters.
• Design control panels and document specifications and test plans.
• Provide on-site commissioning support and client training.
• Create schematics and BOMs, and maintain documentation.
• Coordinate with engineering and production teams on projects.
• Troubleshoot and validate software, systems, and data logs.
