Job summary

Nexus Circular is seeking an HMI operator for our manufacturing plant. You will control and monitor industrial processes using HMI software, coordinate machine performance, respond to alarms, and log production data.

This is a day shift on a 3-2-2 schedule, with reporting to the Plant Manager. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, basic exposure to control systems, strong analytical and teamwork skills, and a willingness to learn new automation technologies to keep our operations safe and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating HMI software is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of industrial processes and manufacturing operations.
• Familiarity with electrical or mechanical systems is beneficial.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate HMI software to monitor and control manufacturing equipment.
• Monitor machine inputs/outputs to identify abnormalities.
• Respond to alarms and adjust settings to optimize performance.
• Collaborate with engineers and maintenance staff to troubleshoot.
• Maintain records of machine performance and maintenance activities.
• Generate reports on production data and quality control.
• Perform routine inspections to ensure safe operation.
• Follow safety protocols and stay updated on HMI trends.
