Job summary

The role requires a STEM degree with 0–1 year of related experience and a keen interest in control systems, UI design, and security principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, CE, or STEM majors.
• 0–1 year of engineering or STEM experience.
• Experience in HMI design with programming knowledge.
• Interest in control systems, UI design, networks, or cyber security.
• Awareness of AI models and prompt engineering.
• Zero-trust security principles awareness.
• Basic knowledge of industrial protocols (Modbus, OPC UA) or SCADA.
• Familiarity with network devices and firewalls.
• Awareness of emerging technologies including AI.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop technologies for modern control room environments.
• Support the design and development of the controls and HMI platform for reliable power plant operations.
• Support the design and prototyping of control system interfaces using simulation tools.
• Assist in implementing security controls and best practices for OT systems.
• Gather and analyze feedback from stakeholders to inform controls and platform design as well as security improvements.
• Contribute to documentation, templates, and standards that support customer operations.
• Explore opportunities to integrate advanced technologies into control systems.
• Evaluate computing technologies to support control system feature enhancements built on generative AI.
