• High School diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Receives telephone orders for home medical equipment and/or supplies from patients, healthcare professionals including but not limited to physicians, nurses, discharge planners, case managers, and social workers.
• Schedules patient appointments and delivery in Epic.
• Ensures accuracy of charts, delivery tickets, and billing paperwork.
• Provides customer service assistance to patients and contracted entities regarding equipment and insurance coverage.
• Communicates effectively with patients and families in sensitive situations and educates on proper use of equipment.
