The Institute for Global Health and Infectious Disease at the UNC School of Medicine is seeking a Research Assistant for the Center for AIDS Research. The position provides support for HIV research, with primary responsibility for data collection and management, medical chart abstraction, and data entry into a computerized data-entry instrument.

Minimum education is a Bachelor’s degree; strong organizational skills, ability to work independently, and familiarity with medical terminology and MS

Qualifications

• Data collection and chart abstraction experience is required.
• Ability to maintain organization while working independently.
• Familiarity with HIV-related medical terminology.
• Experience with data entry into data-entry software is preferred.
