Job summary

The University of Chicago's Chicago Center for HIV Elimination (CCHE) is seeking a Research Coordinator to support day-to-day operations of NIH and CDC funded projects involving LGBTQ and criminal justice involved individuals.

The role reports to the Director of Research and includes recruitment, assessments, data entry and analysis, literature reviews, and coordination across multiple studies, with opportunities for professional development and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of related research experience.
• Experience working with LGBTQ communities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Willingness to receive phlebotomy training.

Responsibilities

• Supports recruitment, screening for eligibility, and consenting community members.
• Delivers assessments, interventions, and controls.
• Supports data entry and analysis, offering referrals to service programming.
• Conducts literature reviews, and supports manuscript and grant writing.
• May engage in data management and analysis.
• Oversees day-to-day research project operations.
• Assists with day-to-day operations of CDC and NIH funded projects.
• Coordinates multiple related projects to ensure optimal recruitment and fidelity to study requirements.
