Job summary

The University of Chicago Medicine's Chicago Center for HIV Elimination is seeking a Research Coordinator to support NIH/CDC funded projects with LGBTQ and criminal justice involved participants. You will assist with day-to-day operations, recruitment, data management, and protocol development under supervision.

This grant-funded position emphasizes professional development, adherence to research regulations, and collaboration with the Director of Research to support COVID testing, HIV/PrEP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• 2-5 years of work experience in a related job discipline.
• Previous research experience is preferred.
• Background working with gender or sexual minorities.

Responsibilities

• Supports recruitment, screening for eligibility, and consenting community members.
• Delivers assessments, interventions, and controls.
• Supports data entry and analysis, offering referrals to service programming when appropriate.
• Conducts literature reviews, and supports manuscript and grant writing.
• Oversees day-to-day research project operations.
• Assists with day-to-day operations of CDC and NIH funded projects.
• Coordinates multiple related projects to ensure optimal recruitment, enrollment and fidelity to study participation.
