Job summary

Vivent Health is seeking a Supervisor, Prevention to lead comprehensive HIV prevention initiatives in the Kansas City area. You will oversee an interdisciplinary team, develop and monitor programs, and ensure regulatory compliance while driving program outcomes.

The role emphasizes building partnerships, coordinating education and outreach, and reporting on grant activities. A bachelor's degree and supervisory experience are required, with travel within the service area expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, community health, social work, or related field; five years of related experience.
• 1–2 years of supervisory experience.
• HIV Prevention Certified Provider (preferred).
• CHES/CPH certification is a plus.
• Willingness to travel within service area.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruit, train, supervise, coach, and evaluate staff/volunteers to implement programs per state requirements and budget.
• Serve on Prevention leadership team with input and alignment to mission.
• Implement state-of-the-art HIV prevention programs for priority populations.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to optimize service delivery.
• Develop communication channels with staff for management decisions.
• Network with community stakeholders and state HIV program staff.
• Utilize electronic records to generate program reports and grant progress.
• Develop and monitor annual program budgets and work plans.
• Support revenue strategies including grant applications and reporting.
• Implement special projects as assigned.
• Adhere to Confidentiality and policy requirements.
