Job summary

Hyacinth Foundation seeks a experienced Prevention Program Supervisor in Newark to lead staff delivering HIV prevention services. The role includes orientation of new staff, ensuring protocol compliance with CDC grants, and coordinating prevention activities across the Essex County NJ programs.

The candidate will oversee outreach, testing activities, and TA for staff to ensure high-quality service delivery while aligning with state and CDC guidelines.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required; supervision experience.
• 2–4 years HIV/AIDS related experience.
• Experience with CDC grants and NJDOH requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff leading prevention programs at the Newark site.
• Orient new prevention staff and ensure protocol compliance for CDC grants.
• Coordinate HIV prevention retreats and self-testing kit programs.
• Monitor HIV testing activities and partner agency activities for self-testing kits.
• Provide TA and capacity building for prevention programs and staff.
• Develop and monitor social media campaigns for targeted populations.
• Collaborate with Director of Prevention and Statewide CTR Manager on PrEP awareness campaigns.
