Job summary

Florida Department of Health in Tallahassee seeks a Senior Human Services Program Specialist to lead statewide Ending the HIV Epidemic (EHE) activities. You will coordinate with seven EHE jurisdictions, provide technical assistance, training, and guidance on service delivery, data collection, monitoring and evaluation.

The role requires collaboration with county health departments, community partners, and contract managers, with travel for on-site visits and TA.

Qualifications

• Experience with organizing and analyzing data.
• Familiarity with HIV prevention, care and treatment programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with county health departments and community-based organizations on implementing the Ending the HIV Epidemic (EHE) initiative.
• Provide TA, training and guidance related to EHE service delivery, education, data collection, monitoring and evaluation.
• Travel to conduct on-site visits and provide TA and training to agencies on topics such as screening, counseling, service delivery and patient navigation.
• Coordinate with local contract managers to ensure TA and training support for funded EHE service providers.
• Assist with budget management, financial reporting and reconciliation for federal and state funding.
