Job summary

Maricopa County Department of Public Health is seeking an Ending the HIV Epidemic Health Educator to deliver EHE activities to partners, providers, and communities in Maricopa and Pinal County. You will conduct presentations, develop educational materials, collect feedback, and engage residents via social media and events.

Requirements include bilingual English/Spanish, a Bachelor's in Public Health or related field, and at least one year coordinating Public Health programs.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English and Spanish required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health or related field.
• At least 1 year coordinating public health programs.

Responsibilities

• Implements, presents, and markets EHE health education programs to increase awareness.
• Develops newsletters, social media, and email campaigns for community outreach.
• Recruits participants and coordinates classes and focus groups; reviews program evaluations.
• Establishes partnerships to reduce HIV stigma and expand community reach.
