Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. seeks an HIV Customer Representative to support the customer-centric model within field sales.

This role covers a Silver Spring, MD based territory with travel to related workload centers and requires strong account management and strategic engagement with healthcare professionals. You will collaborate with the Virology Account Team to position HIV products, using resources to meet customer needs and improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with at least 2 years Sales experience or a high school diploma with at least 6 years of equivalent experience (pharma/medical field).
• Valid Driver's license.
• Willing to travel within the assigned territory to visit customers and attend national sales meetings.

Responsibilities

• Communicates product information tailored to each customer and discusses solutions based on customer needs.
• Engages in informed discussions about products with healthcare professionals and provides additional information as needed.
• Serves as primary contact for select customer accounts, meeting with customers to understand practice structure and opportunities.
• Coordinates with the customer team to develop a strategy for interactions, relationships, and offerings for customers.
• Prioritizes patient outcomes and supports better health outcomes in engagement with customers.
