Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field with at least 1 year of clinical nutrition experience.
• Registered Dietitian with Nevada licensure.
• Preferred: HIV/AIDS nutrition knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Completes patient nutritional assessments and establishes care plans for nutritional needs across age groups, considering cultural, religious, and ethnic factors.
• Documents assessment, plan, actions and patient progress.
• Develops and updates educational materials for patients and clinicians; serves as an expert resource within the multidisciplinary team.
• Conducts group nutrition education sessions for clients and community.
• Stays current with HIV/AIDS nutrition research and integrates new knowledge into practice.
