Job summary

Park West Health System is seeking an experienced HIV Specialist/Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive primary and HIV specialty care for adults living with HIV. This role blends direct patient care with program leadership to grow and improve HIV services across our clinics.

You will lead clinical initiatives, develop policies, and serve as the HIV treatment expert, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to advance prevention, treatment, and quality improvement efforts while

Qualifications

• Must have MSN and Maryland CRNP license.
• AAHIVS or AAHIVE certification required.
• Minimum one year direct HIV clinical care.
• Experience in ambulatory/primary care settings.
• Active Maryland prescriptive authority and Federal DEA licensure.
• Familiar with PrEP, PEP, TasP and related infectious diseases.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary and HIV specialty care for adults living with HIV.
• Lead HIV prevention, treatment, and long-term patient outcomes initiatives.
• Develop HIV clinical policies, protocols, and best practices across locations.
• Serve as subject matter expert on HIV treatment and related infectious diseases.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated patient care.
• Monitor program quality measures and participate in quality initiatives.
• Represent Park West Health System in community partnerships and public health activities.
• Mentor clinical staff on current HIV standards of care.
• Participate in rotating call coverage with other providers.
