Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a hands-on Hitch Service Technician to install and explain towing options at our Moving and Storage Center. You will interact with customers, assess vehicle needs, and recommend the best hitch packages while delivering excellent service.

The role includes ongoing training through U-Haul University and opportunities for advancement. A valid driver’s license and basic tool experience are required for successful performance in this on-site position.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Basic wiring and experience with hand/power tools.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Explain and install the right tow package for customer vehicles.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to U-Haul customers.
• Recommend hitch options and packages based on customer needs.
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
