Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Hitch Service Technician to work on U-Haul Moving and Storage Center lots. You will assess customer needs, explain towing options, and install the best tow package for each vehicle, delivering high-quality service.

The role emphasizes hands-on technical work, safety, and ongoing training through U-Haul University, with a focus on customer satisfaction and reliability at our Oregon locations.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
• Basic wiring and hand/power tool experience required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Understand and explain U-Haul’s variety of towing packages.
• Recommend and install the right tow package on customer vehicles.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to U-Haul customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
