Job summary

Flex-N-Gate LLC is seeking a manufacturing associate for Grand Rapids operations to produce high-quality parts while maintaining rate and safety standards. You will read and follow work instructions and operate within the assigned area on 1st or 2nd shift, with hourly pay starting around $20.25 per hour.

Ideal candidates can work in cold or hot environments, stand most of the shift, lift up to 50 lbs, and pass Ventra GR29 safety trainings. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience preferred, but not required.
• Complete and Pass Ventra GR29 LOTO Trainings.
• Able to perform in a high-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Load / Unload metal Hitches to a conveyor line to be painted.
• Read / Follow Process and Work Instructions.
• Performs jobs within operation of assigned work area.
• Uses Help Chain for equipment problems and scrap/quality issues
• Maintains 5S standards as they relate to housekeeping in the assigned work area.
• Reports any and all safety issues immediately to supervisor / team leader / management staff.
• Maintains compliance to Company policies, work rules, safety standards and housekeeping policies.

Summary

Primary responsibility is the production of quality parts while maintaining rate. Reads work instructions and follow oral instructions. 1st and 2nd Shift available. Hourly Rate starts at $20.25

Key Responsibilities:

• Load / Unload metal Hitches to a conveyor line to be painted.
• Read / Follow Process and Work Instructions.
• Performs jobs within operation of assigned work area.
• Uses Help Chain for equipment problems and scrap/quality issues
• Maintains 5S standards as they relate to housekeeping in the assigned work area.

Working Conditions

• Ability to work in cold and hot environments
• Upper body mobility is required along with the physical requirements of lifting, carrying and pushing/pulling .
• Must be able to stand 90% of the time.
• Able to lift / carry / move using one or two hands from 1 lb. to 50 lbs.
• Overtime as required.

Must wear required PPE at all time.
