Job summary

Expert Technology Services in Minnesota seeks an Epic product expert for EpicCare Ambulatory and related outpatient clinical applications. You will collaborate with end users to design, build, and enhance the Epic system, ensuring timely and professional configuration, and you will lead small to medium Epic upgrade initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience with EpicCare Ambulatory and related outpatient clinical applications.
• Ability to design, build, and validate Epic configurations with end-user collaboration.
• Upgrading Epic systems in small to mid-size initiatives with design, build, and testing of workflows.

Job Summary (List Format):

• - Serve as Epic product expert for EpicCare Ambulatory and related outpatient clinical applications, providing expertise in function, design, build, and testing.
• - Collaborate with end users to design, build, and enhance the Epic system, ensuring timely and professional system configuration.
• - Lead and manage small to medium complexity Epic software upgrade initiatives, including design, build, and testing of workflows.
• - Participate in design and validation sessions, maintaining documentation and escalating issues as needed.
• - Provide technical and clinical consultation, including application configuration and system recommendations.
• - Develop, support, and maintain all required system design/build documents and related system documentation.
• - Perform daily production monitoring of Epic applications.
• - Actively participate in all testing phases, including unit, system, and integrated testing for EpicCare Ambulatory workflows.
• - Provide application support for incident resolution, including 24/7 on-call coverage as required.
• - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Epic software functionality and operational workflows.
• - Analyze workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues related to Epic software.
• - Collaborate with trainers to develop and update training curriculum and materials.
• - Translate business requirements into functional specifications and manage changes, prioritizing, coordinating, and implementing system updates.
• - Review and test new Epic releases; troubleshoot and resolve end user issues.
• - Ensure adherence to organizational standards for system configuration and change control.
• - Build strong relationships with end users, customers, and business partners.
• - Facilitate stakeholder communication throughout the project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to implementation.
• - Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, escalating complex problems as appropriate.
