Adventist HealthCare's Capital Choice Pathology Lab in Silver Spring, MD seeks an experienced Histotechnologist to perform routine histology, including microtomy, embedding, staining, QC, and slides distribution while maintaining LIS workflows and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in histology or life sciences.
• HT certification by ASCP or eligible.
• Minimum two years of bench histology experience.
• Ability to work evenings and adapt to a part-time schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine histology procedures including microtomy, embedding, and staining.
• Document quality control checks and troubleshoot instruments as needed.
• Prepare and distribute slides; manage non-specimen GYN preparations.
• Maintain safety and infection control practices and LIS workflow.
