Job summary

Qualifications

• NAACLS accredited Histotechnology program is required.
• Associates degree with biology and chemistry and 1 year histopathology experience required.
• Technical or professional training in Histotechnology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tissue specimens by embedding, sectioning and staining.
• Operate and troubleshoot histology equipment (processors, stainers, cryostats, coverslippers).
• Perform immunohistochemical analysis and digital imaging as needed.
• Follow safety policies and maintain lab records and documentation.
• Participate in quality assurance and proficiency testing.
