Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical/physical/biological science, medical technology or CLIA-based clinical lab science.
• One year of supervised histopathology lab experience preferred or related research exposure.
• HT(ASCP) certification with relevant clinical experience is acceptable.
• Military histotechnician training completed in the U.S. can satisfy education.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process tissue specimens for microscopic evaluation.
• Prepare dyes and reagents following established protocols.
• Process frozen sections with care and accuracy.
• Collaborate with physicians and lab teams to support accurate diagnoses.
• Perform additional duties to keep the lab running smoothly under supervision.

Education

Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, biological science, medical technology or clinical laboratory science

Baccalaureate degree + 1 year histopathology experience

Baccalaureate degree + HT(ASCP) certification with 6 months histopathology experience

50-week U.S. military histotechnician training course
