Job summary

Qualifications

• Histology training, histochemistry, immunohistochemistry skills, histology safety/regulatory knowledge, anatomical pathology computer training.
• Must have integrity and ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Embed processed surgical tissue with quality and accuracy.
• Verify specimen blocks match the surgical grossing report.
• Cut and stain routine H&E slides and attach patient reports.
• Perform immunohistochemistry and histochemistry stains with troubleshooting of instruments.
• Document quality control issues and maintain equipment records.
