NeoGenomics is seeking a Histotechnologist Lead for our Fort Myers, FL lab. This advanced role supervises staff, trains personnel, and reviews workflows while performing complex tissue preparation procedures.

You’ll work Sunday-Thursday, 6:00am-2:30pm, with opportunities to lead departmental initiatives, ensure quality control, and contribute to patient care by supporting the world-class cancer reference laboratory. Training and advancement await a dedicated professional.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in chemical, biological, or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution; or Associate of Science in a laboratory science or medical laboratory technology.
Four or more years of Histology experience preferred.
National HT (ASCP) or HTL (ASCP) certification.
FL: current Technologist/Technician license.

Responsabilités

Oversee and perform supervisory functions in the absence of the supervisor.
Monitor workflow, assign and review staff work, schedule and train employees on policies and procedures.
Lead department projects and improvements; ensure QA/QC and compliance with regulations.
Troubleshoot instruments and reagents; document incidents and corrective actions.
Improve production flow by evaluating systems and coordinating with other departments.
