Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved school of Histotechnology required.

Responsibilities

• Performs special staining techniques, including immunohistochemical, immunofluorescent, and enzyme stains.
• Operates computerized equipment for processing and staining specimens; maintains documentation.
• Uses the laboratory system to manage orders and verify results; performs quality control procedures.
• Takes action to resolve quality and patient-related issues and maintains compliance with policies.
