Job summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process tissue specimens for microscopic examination by the Pathologist.
• Collect, accept and recognize specimens as they arrive in the lab; assist in selecting fixatives.
• Embed, cut, stain and mount tissue sections for analysis by the Pathologist.
• Maintain laboratory inventory and equipment; keep Quality Control records.
