Qualifications

• HT (ASCP) certification or eligibility.
• Extreme manual dexterity and attention to detail; good hand-eye coordination.
• Strong organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares Tissue Speicimens for Processing.
• Special and Immunohistochemistry staining and maintaining logs.
• Maintains equipment; performs routine cleaning of microtome and related tools.
• Assists in cutting room as needed.
• Participates in continuing education and skill updates.
