Responsibilities

• Dissect and grossly describe routine to mid‑complexity specimens.
• Accession, label, and maintain specimen integrity.
• Describe gross features for pathologist review with clear, complete notes.
• Select tissue samples for slide preparation and document dissection as required.
• Escalate non-routine specimens to a Grossing Tech II or Pathologist Assistant when needed.
• Maintain safety and compliance with OSHA regulations.
