McLaren Health Care in Michigan is seeking a skilled Histotechnician to prepare tissue and other samples for pathology review while upholding accreditation guidelines and QA standards. The role involves operating histology equipment, labeling and staining slides, and maintaining records with precision.
Under supervision, you will assist with gross pathology tasks, prepare pap, Gynecologic and non-Gyn specimens, and ensure the integrity of specimens throughout processing.

Position Summary: Under direct supervision, prepares tissue and other biological samples for examination by pathologists and cytotechnologists. Performs quality assurance functions and maintain procedure manuals. Maintains laboratory equipment and records following established accreditation guidelines and quality control standards.
