McLaren Health Care in Michigan is hiring a phlebotomy technician to collect and process blood specimens, enter orders, and ensure accurate patient identification. The role supports lab operations, maintains supplies, and participates in blood drives as needed.
The ideal candidate has phlebotomy training or experience in a lab or medical office, and a high school diploma; ASCP-BOC certification is preferred. This is an on-site laboratory position with a focus on safety and quality control.

Processes blood specimens for testing. Enters collections of such specimens in lab information system. Assists medical technologists and/or pathologists in performing designated laboratory tests. Assists with maintaining laboratory equipment and records following established accreditation guidelines and quality control standards.
